You can make this process easier by having a weekly meal plan set out and only buy the foods needed to stick to this plan. Also, when shopping, be sure to read all labels carefully. You want to avoid foods that are high in fat, sugar and salt as well as hydrogenated oils.

In addition to your healthy diet plan, adding exercise and plenty of rest will do you wonders as well. The important thing is to stay consistent. If you make a mistake and indulge on the piece of chocolate cake, forgive yourself and get yourself back on track.
